Damaged book

I reserved a book from water stones to click and collect. I collected it yesterday and the assistant put in the bag for me. I didn't touch it until I got on the bus as k wanted to read it on bus.

Anyways when I took it out the bag I could see the book was damaged. As in that it was ripped on the back cover.

Am I able to exchange it or not.

I've tried tweeting waterstones and they say they are online today but no reply yet
