Noisy neighbours - letter to landlord

So we have a small problem with our neighbours. I thought I would write a letter to their landlord after finding their address online. Is there anything I should be doing? What kind of detail? Recorded delivery or anything like that?

go round and see him personally, friendly, nothing to lose“Life isn't about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself.”

What do you expect from it? That they give your neighbour notice just because they are disturbing you? I very much doubt they will be prepared to do so if they are good tenants paying on time.
Have you spoken to your neighbours about it?0 -
I went round at 2.30 this morning and asked them to keep it down. Which they did, sort of, until it went quiet at about 4. And I don't think they're all that great tenants from what I've seen, landlord having to come round to mow their lawn, keeping a dog and then the landlord having to have a word to get rid of it etc.0

We had a problem with a noisy neighbour and we was a complete nightmare. We spoke to the land lord who gave him several warnings but in the end the landlord issued a section 21 notice. That way no reason had to be given the tenant was gone within three months.0 -

I am presuming this is a regular occurrence? If it was a 'one off' then I personally think you are being unreasonable.
Writing to the landlord is similar to complaining to the local council. They would expect you to keep a diary of events, with times and what happened.
I would do the same with the landlord.
Keep it factual - bullet points in the main part so that it doesn't look like a tirade of whinging and the LL will give up reading!
What the landlord can do will depend on their tenancy agreement and whether the LL is prepared to take action which might include court action.
Wouldn't bother with recorded delivery - keep a copy of the PO receipt and ,of course, a copy of your letter.0 -
Just remember that you may have to declare this as a dispute in the future when you come to sell your property (presuming you own of course). xxx0
