Awaiting completion certificate

We had our iva concluded in dec 14 with payments made to date but have been waiting for the completion certificate ever since, we've had to do Ppi investigations which have been completed and over the last few months whenever we've contacted our company they have told us they'll speak to our supervisor and get back to us, which they never have.
Anyway I've finally got fed up with this so contacted our IP direct, mainly because I've just had a job interview for a new position which entails insolvency register check, obviously our names are on there and I have already told my potential new boss about it and she's said it won't be a problem, but as they've now offered me this job, I want this concluded ASAP.
My IP has come back to me and told me there was an issue with a claim from a creditor just before xmas that wasn't included in our iva, this was for £5k but has now been included, I have absolutely no idea what this is as all our liabilities were submitted at the start of the iva, nothing was left out and we have had no demands for payment throughout the iva for this debt, so I have asked her to clarify what it is.
However, she has now said that she won't delay closure anymore and issued the final report to creditors on Thursday, so does this mean we'll get our completion certificate now? And how soon will that be does anyone know?

If anything like mine, it will be days after the final report, it is likely in post
Basically once it gets to the stage the final report is drafted(often not by IP him\herself but by an assistant) everything is over IVA wise. It doesn't make any sense to get the IP to look over your file and sign twice rather than conclude IVA all in one go
You'll find your still on insolvency register for 3 months but you'll see the status change to completed soon0 -
insolvency register removal varies alot. my iva finished in november. certificate /letter came december and i was removed from register before certificate came. its very wuick and seems to happen as soon as ure ip lets them know. maybe i was just lucky. best wishes0
