Set up a DD to always pay the balance on the statement in full - missing a payment is expensive.Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill0

Thanks @zx81, didn't think about waiting for the statement, just thought about paying it off straight away. I did set up a direct debit anyway as part of the application process, so best to just let it go out automatically then. Cool!
