'Re-cycling' Junk Mail - send it to MacKenzie Hall

I have decided that it is not very ecological to keep 'binning' all the junk mail that I receive, so I've decided to fill in ALL requests for information, salesman visits, high interest loans and credit cards and return them to the companies that send them.
Not only does this provide work for the Post Office, but it also costs the issuing companies for postage.
The ONLY thing is - I will NOT be using my name and address. Instead I will be filling them in as:
Mr Gary JONES, Operations Director
MacKENZIE HALL LIMITED
30, The Foregate
KILMARNOCK
Ayrshire
KA1 1LU

Let THEM see what it's like to receive unsolicited Krap for a change.
Please feel free to do the same.

    LOL nice one :)

I usually filter out any paper that is only printed out on one side for use as a scratch pad.

Then I put the junk mail from one company into the envelope of another and send it off.

As for those postcards that need filling in...

    Either:-
    Miss Lucy Likes
    The Cockwell Inn
    Tillet
    Herts.
    PI55 0FF
    Or:-
    Mr. R Hood
    Oak Tree Cottage
    Sherwood Forest
    Nottingham
    PI55 0FF
But really, signing up for the mail preference service really helps to reduce the junk. Honest :)

  • A friend of my OH sends them all back to the sender in their pre-paid envelope.

I'm liking the fake address idea.. <wondering how much mail Hellifax would like...>

    Newgirl ;)
  • Years ago one of the major political parties was rumoured to have stopped their freepost address as they were sent so many bricks. Remember - they usually pay the postage based on weight!
