Card Transfers

I want to transfer 1000 from Tesco as it runs out 0% soon and 350 from Santander. I recenlty applied for a 0% from Virgin and was refused, I have never been refused before! Was told not to apply again for six months. It was a zero fee card. On going on the eligibility site i am given Santander as the best card even though I have a card of theirs and bank with them. There are other cards there but because I have been refused by Virgin what are my chances?

Have you checked your credit files in case there is anything negative recorded that you were not aware of?

Some banks let you hold more than one credit card with them, but I'm not sure whether Santander do? I couldn't see anything on their website but someone on this forum will know0
