can you help i am traveling on jet 2 with 5 of us and could not find out if we can share luggage i have been on the web site and cannot find anything on there about it.There is a phone number but it is 50p a min .Thanks in advance

You cannot combine luggage allowances. A case may be up to 25kg, however any case over 18kg will be subject to an excess baggage charge.

We were ok with 3 cases between 4, 2 were about 22kg, total was under 4x18kg.
Being logical about it, it's easier for the airline to have 3 cases of 24kg each than to have 4 cases of 18kg each.

No single bag can be over 25kg though.

This was on a booking made before April 07 and we flew in August.

But it was luck that you were ok - you don't want the OP coming back after their hols saying you said that they could! x
