Coventry Bdg Soc – new Sort Code for inward BACS
ED
Calling customers of Coventry Bdg Society! (Please alert friends & relatives.)
Inward BACS now need this new Sort Code : 40-63-01
new Account Number : the first 8 digits of your own a/c nr – not all 9 digits. (Previously this was Coventry's holding a/c nr.)
Reference : your own name. (Previously this was your own a/c nr.)
+ for inward CHAPS transfers, Coventry's Sort Code is : 40 48 64
Anyone here had problems with Coventry's recent changes?
I'm currently investigating a bad new rule prohibiting setting up of new inward links to NetSave Instant a/c, along with a good new rule allowing outward Standing Orders direct from NetSave Instant a/c (instead of only from CallSave MoneyMananger a/c). Experiences, anyone?
Note : this post also appears in MSE's highly useful section re Dealing With Money & Current Accounts, which may be new to some folk, here – link :
