If I'm not mistaken, this shop
http://www.luxussound.com/Speaker/BeoLab-18/BeoLab-18.html sells for EUR 2590 cheapest version; in the UK, the best I could find is http://www.petertyson.co.uk/ebuttonz/ebz_product_pages/bang_and_olufsen_beolab_18.shtml £4350. This doesn't appear to be price for the pair, which was my first guess, otherwise the German site is 50% cheaper (I've seen similar differences on kitchen appliances, so I'm not surprised).
The shop in germany was found on price comparison idealo.de and offers shipping option to the UK.
Other than the pain of having to use plug converters, can anyone tell me why buying from Germany may not be a good idea?

To get them from the German site it would cost you at least 5,180 Euros.
Minimum order is 2 x 2,245Eur + 195Eur (For the Black grill) + 150Eur (for floor stand) 19% tax 827.06Eur.
UK price equates to 5,520Euro so 402Euro more than the German site. This may be wiped out if you pick the Oak/Maple grill at 495Euro or the Walnut at 675Euro
Not including shipping.....
If you call the UK supplier they may price match...

I think you need to get confirmation from the UK site whether their price is for 1 speaker or for 2. It isn't clear, but if it is only 1 then obviously the German site has a much better price, if it's 2 then what RumRat says applies.0
