Gingervamp gives great advice the only thing I would add is to try Fairy platinum original, I find it the best washing up liquid & even like the smell of it.

When i have a very greasy meal such as a roast, i will occaionally soak with washing powder, it sorts the grease issue, not with the best pans though.

But, Don't put most the fat down the drain please. Let it set then scrape it into the bin. It blocks drains further down the line if it doesn't do you own.
