Considering company car options. We currently have a Mk4 Mondeo hatchback that we own. We'll be getting a company car that's a similar size (particularly when it comes to the boot) and selling the Mondeo. We could get another Mondeo but (1) we've had several electrical faults and I'm a bit put off Ford now, and (2) premium…

Just remember that you can hire a van for as little as £20 for a day.

It's not worth paying several hundred quid extra for an estate if you won't use it that much - hiring a van on those occasions will be far cheaper.

As for the bikes, you can get a bike carrier and still have stuff in the boot.
