Are multi pet policies any good?

Hi everyone, new to the site. Have a question about pet insurance.
Me and my wife currently have 2 cats, a 5 year old tortie and a 2 year old ginger tabby.
Currently they are both on individual insurance policies. We will soon be adopting a kitten through cats protection (grey tabby)
I was wondering whether it was worth getting the kitten their own insurance policy, or getting a multi pet insurance policy.
Are there any drawbacks to this?
Thank you in advance

Mortgage co-ordinator for a building society
I carry out affordability assessments for new and existing customers.
I update customers during the application when they call, letting them know where things are at.
I also answer existing mortgage queries.

None at all, you just get a discount if you take a multipet but T&C are the same.
Are you sure you can add a cat though? I have multicat policy but all my cats were insured with the same company at the same time. Depends who your insurer is I guess0 -
When I added a second dog to Petplan it was automatically put on the same policy as my other dog.0
