What I'm getting at, is can I not question the company's vetting process for credit accounts. There were clearly none because all of my details apart from the name were incorrect! Is the company able to remove the data if I can come to an agreement with them for payment? Obviously getting my brother into trouble is the last option and I want to pursue all other avenues first. He's got a lot of issues and he's registered as a vulnerable person with autism, he wouldn't cope if he was locked up for it.0 -

He's not going to be locked up for it.
The court / crown will take into consideration his disability when deciding how to proceed.
Any way you do it this is going to take some time to resolve, with a strong possibility that you will have difficulty getting credit for years. Are you sure there is only the one account?0 -

There's only one account recorded on my credit and he assures me it's just the one, so I have to assume that's correct for now.
I've been advised by Action Fraud to fill out a report through their website, which I have done. They said that the credit reference agencies should then remove the bad credit from my account if I give them the reference number. I'm not sure if this is true or not.0 -

If you're in the Noddle 1/5 club you're in good company. At a time when Experian describes my score as "excellent" and Clearscore describes it as "in the top 15% in the U.K" Noddle gave me 1/5. In fact my ambition was to get an Amex card when my Noddle rating was 0/5. But now my hopes have been dashed because they have increased it to 3/5.
At best, the Noddle rating can best be described as a work of fiction and possibly related to their additional paid service which helps to improve it.0
