You can't automate it to pay every month. Once the DD is set up with Paypal you need to remember to log into your pp account and pay it every month.0 -

Have you tried opening an Internet Saver and an Everyday saver with Tesco?
You can set up a DD on each to pull money from another bank account.0 -

FWIW, I've used a single internet saver to set up 2 DD's from the same bank account. I've also done this on 3 accounts.0

You set up the Direct Debit on the PayPal website. Then, any time you owe them money (ie when you have bought something) you will get an email telling you how much is due and when it will be debited from your bank. No action is required on your part.0 -
No.

But zak2012 is hoping to use PayPal as a direct debit to fulfil the T&C for a switching incentive.
This can be done, but cannot be automated to work each month. You can arrange for PayPal to take payments from a number of current accounts, by direct debit, but unless you buy something using PayPal every month, you would have to log into your PayPal account every month and make a payment into your account.
Too much hassle for most people when there are far easier ways;)0 -

I would keep the Tesco Current account because you can get 3% interest on balances up to £3000.0 -

What switch requires a DD to have a payment made every month? The ones I've looked at just require it to be active, which could mean 1 payment in the previous 13 months (and possibly no payments in some circumstances).0
