I have a joint account which i opened last september and i want to open another indivdual current account with another bank. Will the credit check affect my credit rating as they are bit close.
I am also thinking of applying for a mortgage before the end of the year please will it have any effect.
Many thanks

Lots of credit checks in a short space of time is regarded as a negative as it makes you look desperate for credit.
Opening one account last September and then another one now shouldn't cause any problems0 -
Absolutely no affect on your credit file.0
