  • For my area it is

    Unit rate 2.254p per kWh
    Standing charge 26.250p per day

So that is £29 a year MORE than my Daligas tariff of

    Unit rate 2.700p per kWh
    Standing charge 9.500p per day
  • £92 extra than my SP April 2017 fixed!

Seems that N Scotland is the only cheap area then. :D

    North Scotland 1.929p/26.25p, ...

    It is indeed.

But compare with say Zog at 2.340p per kWh / 12.60p per day (£45.99 per year)

That would result in a whopping saving of £1.53 per year for an average gas user (12,500kWh p.a.)

Do we have an EDF rep here?

I've just gone to switch tariff as there is currently one slightly cheaper (saving £15 a year) but if I go ahead it wants to increase my DD!

Bearing in mind I'm almost £100 in CREDIT during a winter quarter then I'd expect to see it reduce rather than increase! Not happy

Man that Daligas thafiff is really really good ! I've compared some thariffs few days ago,
and none of the comparison site showed me it. The best that I've found was:
    energyhelpline:
    Unit rate 2.573p per kWh
Standing charge 15.08p per day (£55.03 per year)

with Dailigas i'm about 20£ better a year.

    thanks !

I have today switched from Feb 2017 to March 2017 with an annual saving of £25.
They reduced my dd from £42 to £28 ! But all it took was to use the change dd tool on the account and it was put back up to £40.
    So try that.

I just switched from EDF's February 2017 offering to the new March 2017 offering. Gas unit price for me down in SouthWales is 1.957p

Out of curiosity, does anyone remember the last time the consumer gas unit price was under 2 pence per KWH?
