Monitor Storage Solution

I've been asked to come up with a solution at work for storing our spare monitors.
We have about 20, 22" flat screen monitors that have had the stands removed because when installed on a desk they are attached to a monitor arm. I'm thinking that something like a hanging file type affair that I can put a monitor in each pocket to stop them getting scratched but taking up as little space as possible.
I did think that, at a push, I could put them into bubble wrap sleeves but nobody seems to make them big enough.
Does anyone have any bright ideas, please?
Many thanks

Depends on how much your boss is willing to spend
You can get "soft" padded cases for around £30 each.
Or harder Flight cases for a few £hundred each...
Or buy a butt load of bubble wrap and half a dozen sturdy double / triple walled cardboard boxes. Take the stands off and wrap 'n' pack them into the boxes
Last resort, (probably my best bet!)
Hit the IKEA catalogue, look for suitable meal shelves (something like the FJÄLKINGE range), line them with sticky backed foam rubber and use them for storage. You can buy extra shelves and storage drawers for all the other odds and ends.
Or if you planned ahead and kept the boxes the monitors were delivered in. just re-pack them and stick them in a cupboard or room out the way! That's what my old boss made us do!

Just store them on a shelf like books, separated by bubble wrap or cardboard. As simple as than.0

Yes, this is kind of what I had on mind but perhaps a more lasting setup. I'd have thought it would have been easy to source some plastic 'slot' type units that I could stand the monitors up in side by side like extra large magazine racks but despite a good old Google, I can find nothing."If you think it's expensive to hire a professional to do the job, wait until you hire an amateur." -- Red Adair0
