I've got two CCJs about a year old, and have just put myself back on the electoral role after having moved house a ton in the last two years (i earn a pretty decent wage).
Looking at a few sites it looks i might have a relatively ok change for getting accepted with Ocean, Vanquis or Aquis but would you recommend that i wait a bit to show i've been on the electoral role for a certain amount of time? I don't want to put a search in too early and scupper my chances of acceptance as I've only just this week registered to vote.
Thanks0 -

I think the electoral role is only updated periodically eg I moved in March a few years ago but the CRA date shows as October of that year.
I would give it at least 6 weeks before applying - have you signed up for the free Noddle credit report?0 -
Thank you, i'll probably give it two months then. i've checked my credit report quite recently with experian, equifax and another one. They all give me a low credit score. Not checked with noodle though, would you recommend i do that as well?0

Ignore your scores. But check the data on all three files is correct.0

Ignore the number. Check your files, if there are no errors, just go for it and apply. The credit card company will tell you 'Accepted', or 'Declined'. There is no 10%,20%. Just face up to it. If you get declined, reassess to see what you can do to improve or remove unfavourable factors. GIve it time and try again.
