Courier lost my parcel via myparceldelivery.com

Hi All,

I would like to know where I stand with this and if there's anything I can do.

I had to return a bike back to Amazon that I had ordered via Flubit. As it was an error my end I had to pay the return postage. Printed out the Amazon returns label, looked into cheapest way of sending it back. Myparceldelivery.com came highly recommended so went with them, and made a point of using parcel force via them as I've had issues with other courier firms in the past. I didn't opt for extra insurance at an additional cost so went with the basic £30 compensation that comes as standard.

Bike was collected and scanned by parcel force and showed up on the online tracking system on myparceldelivery.

However, it then went missing and never (according to the tracking) arrived at it's destination. Started a claim with myparceldelivery, parcel force began an investigation and the driver claimed that it hadn't been collected and had been mis-scanned. Parcel force sent out denial of receipt requests to Amazon but didn't receive anything back. I stated to myparceldelivery that they were unlikely to as it's an Amazon return's address (I'm guessing that you'd be unlikely to receive correspondence from this address).

So now I am not entitled to compensation and the bike has gone missing. There must be something I can do about this. The bike was collected and this clearly shows in the online tracking. The parcel force driver who collected the bike has lied, I understand that sometimes things go missing, but he has clearly stated that he didn't collect the bike when the tracking shows that it was. The address I sent it to was a returns address, which being Amazon must receive a huge amount of items, and probably won't be the one that is used for correspondence.

Please help!

You either start proceedings against myparceldeliver.com or get the police involved who will tell you it's a civil case.

I'm afraid you might be up a creek with no paddle.
