ESA50 reply timescale

Would appreciate it if anyone knows the timescale from posting my ESA50 to getting a date for the WCA with Maximus? Submission cut-off date is 22 March 2016

Also the timescale for a decision following the medical with Maximus?

My experience in Glasgow claimed esa 5th December received an appointment for medical within 4 weeks of returning the esa50 had my medical 5th February received my decision via post yesterday all in was under the 13 weeks. From what I've heard the timescale varies from area to area with some people waiting over a year.

What you could do is wait a couple of weeks after returning the ESA50 and then call Maximus if there is a number provided, or ESA, and ask them then. It might give you a better indication for your own area.

Submitted ESA50 for my son in May 2015. Just got off the phone from Maximus and his file is still with them. They could give me no indication of how long we will have to wait. :mad:

I waited 8 weeks after sending esa 50 back. No medical required.
