Broken electric fire

Hi,

I bought a new electric fire and the back end of summer last year, I'm unsure of the exact month but I definitely bought it less then 12 months ago.

Providing I can find the receipt (I have a good idea where it is) what are my rights?

Thanks for any replies

If you bought before 1st October last year, the Sale of Goods Act applies, if after that date then Consumer Rights Act. You can read all about these by clicking on the sticky at the top of the Consumer Rights board.

    Then enforce your rights.

MSE's How to Complain article will help you with that.
