I wasn't planning to spend anything today but I have been planning christmas already (yes I know its a bit early) so bought a few things from studio - £34.
It seems like a lot but I am better at spending than saving so I figured if I buy things now its less I have to save for in a couple of months!0 -
Afternoon PAP et al! :hello:
I spent £77.41  so blew the budget completely.
On the plus side, most of what I blew it on was either through QuidCO or at a second hand shop so, could have been worse!
As for this week, groceries, EBAY postage & bus fares aside...I have a hair appointment, some things to pay for off EBAY (microfibre towel & some pillow cases) and a little bit for incidentals so......I think £70 is this week's budget.Bank Balance: In the black for the moment.

Hi all, sorry for the silence the last few days, my bro's been down so it's been crazy. I spent £42 of my budgetted £70 last week (bro still doesn't know what he wants for his birthday so I didn't have to spend on him!).
Gunna stick myself in for £10 this week. Nothing in perticular I need to buy. Already spent £2.99 on some sushi, never tried it before and wanted to. Very nice mmmmm

Hi there
Wel today is my 5 NSD in a row this week:j
I have just read the opening post (properly this time).... and have just realised that food shopping that is budgeted for isnt counted ...what a dipstick i am  .... the good new though is, that it means that since moving here i have only NSD's... that gives me a total of 33 NSD in a row :rotfl: ...
It helps being away from all the shops mind.... i get my weekly fix food shopping and then thats it ...even then im doing Dbelles shopping challenge -to feed 2 for 4 weeks on £60....well 80 euros in may case (and im coming in under budget too:D )..... Its shopping day tommorrow for me, so i will be getting my fix for the week:T
But this not spending money lark is getting addictive...im begining to border on the "tight fisted" at the moment :rotfl:
hope everyone is having a good day-6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.50 -
Hi everyone,
have just got back from a fantastic girls weekend away, but that was budgeted for and haven't spent anything over that at all, so technically a NSD here!
Last week i was so near and yet so far (yet again!) - I had tried for £10, and have come in at £10.08 - how frustrating!!!!!!
Can I try for £35 this week please Pap? Have a meal out this week and not sure how much that will be and have a present for a new baby to get as well as some other bits and pieces....
Good luck one and all x0 -
NSD for me - stayed at home and have stayed away from internet shopping

Hi PAP
Spent £30.70 of my £31 budget:j - very close, but I did it!!!!
Only money I've spent all weekend is my grocery shopping (budgeted) so I have £30 for the Sun - Fri challenge. Shouldn't be too difficult as kids are back at school on Wednesday, but have to buy my cousin's baby a pressie (he's a week old tomorrow - I'm going to see him tomorrow night:j ) and a card.
Have also got to get DS2 a couple of pairs of jeans.....but this will come out of my clothing budget:T20p Saver Club #33 60p/£100
