Bank of Scotland Vantage

I have 2 bank of Scotland current accounts with vantage.

One of the conditions to earn interest is that £1k has to be paid in each month.

I have read their T&C which only state that the money must be paid in monthly, but it does not specify from where the money has to come from.

Can anyone tell me if the money can just be transferred from one account to the other or whether it needs to be from an external account.

Thanks, in anticipation

What is not said in T&C is as important as what is said.

Does it say payments must come from an external account?
Does it say payments can't be internal transfers?

    No?;)

We've got 3 and rotate the £1k online between them in a few minutes every month. An Excel spreadsheet says what is to be done at what date with what account each month as memory is sadly fading with old age:)

There's a coincidence! Neither do Halifax, Lloyds, TSB and Tesco (when it mattered).

But, Santander (123), YB/CB (CAD), and Nationwide (FlexDirect) do say where it can't come from.

As far as I'm aware no bank tells you where the money MUST come from. That would be daft!...and unworkable.

We're all reading the same T&Cs remember...if you can't see it, neither can anyone else. ;)

How quickly are you able to open the 2nd/3rd BOS accounts please? Just for future reference as I may add them to my growing list of current accs that do not require DDs, but pay good % rates.

Similarly Tesco's as they also allow more than one account.

I have read the websites up and down - if there is a thread I should go to please let me know. I couldn't find anything.
