Why does the Credit Eligibility not work

Hi,

Every time I try to use the Credit Card Eligibility tool on MSE it comes back with the following warning:

Unfortunately we've not been able to match your details at the Credit Bureau meaning we can’t provide you with eligibility results.

I've checked with the electoral roll and with experian and they have my correct address and the one I am using on the checker.

Is anyone else getting this issue? Bit reluctant to apply for a card if it gets rejected for the same reason and affects my credit history.

The information you have entered is wrong or you don't have enough of a credit history to get a decision. Double check name and postcode and address.

I prefer the eligibility check on moneysupermarket.com although it suprises me that their eligibility check results in 2 soft searches on Equifax by "HDD-PRICE COMPARISON-BARCLAYCARD".

For the horse's mouth try the eligibility checkers on MBNA and Barclaycard.
