Not being funny but you should know when you got your licence (1 year out is understandable, but not 2+).
I do find it interesting how your main focus seems to be on the cost and how you're quibbling over an extra £100. I actually think you've tried to be crafty and got caught out. I genuinely don't believe you. It is a good job that you don't have someone a bit more pessimistic looking at your insurance policy on the other side of things, because I'd be inclined to cancel your policy outright!
Ultimately, bear in mind that if you go on to claim on your policy then will they actually pay up if they discover that you lied (knowingly or otherwise) on your application?0
