Taxidermia

Three generations of men from one family are hungry to achieve their own perverse dreams. Director György Pálfi serves up a visual feast of fantasy and satire that that is both stomach-churning and nourishing in equal measures. Partly based on the magical realist tales of Hungarian writer Lagos Parti Nagy, Taxidermia shares the same fertile imagination as Terry Gilliam, Tarantino and Gaspar Noe. It contains scenes that make Mr Creosote from Monty Python’s Meaning of Life look a lightweight eater with levels of surrealist humour that compare with Delicatessen, Buňuel’s Un Chien Andalou and even Borat.
Thanks to the folk with strong stomachs over at Tartan we have one copy of the DVD plus three copies of the book Get Stuffed: The Home Taxidermist's Handbook to give away.
