Plumbing - Plastic pipe with metal fittings

Can anyone tell me if I can use plastic pipe with metal fittings? I would like to use 22mm plastic pipe, the kind that you put together with speedfit fittings, but I would like to have some metal components in there too, like this:

Can I just fit this to the pipe as normal?

Cheers

Dave

Yes of course, just use the metal inserts!
  • You can use compression fittings on plastic pipe with no problems at all, but you must use the correct inserts for the pipe that you are using.

    Hep20 are normally metal
    speedfit are normally plastic
