parking eye operating without advertising consent

Options
A PARKING firm which issues fines on a supermarket car park has been operating without full planning and advertising consent since 2014.
ParkingEye erected 32 signs and a camera to monitor license plates at Morrisons in Whitehaven in August 2014 - but only applied for permission last month.
Motorists have now called on people who have been issued charges on the car park to challenge Morrisons and ParkingEye.

I wondered if it was an early April 1st.

Thanks for that info, how many more parking eye sites are the same.
Parking Eye clearly cannot persue any tickets and it seems, they are refunding to limit their liability

Parking Eye are a law to themselves but Morrisons and other supermarkets are losing, profits (if any were made) are down to an all time low. It is their own fault for taking on Parking Eye, they were warned.

Morrisons Whitehaven will now see a fall in sales, the report in the newspaper will ensure that.

All Morrisons throughout the UK should review the viability of using Parking Eye as it will get worse

Local councils have two sets of planning laws, one for joe public and one for parking parasites.
They bend over and lube up.

Summat up with the signage (maybe none, maybe it was overlooked) or the landowner authority at the Seaham overflow car park then, perhaps? I expect we'll find out in the end. Or maybe there are several entrances & exits and not all covered by cameras or something.
