Hi
I wrote to Virgin Media back in December, regarding the recent price increase. I understood I could cancel the contract without a penalty. Virgin have informed me that I have to pay a penalty of £350..Is this correct?

Did you have a confirmation they received it?
The maximum Early termination fee is £240, so how do they get the £350 figure?0 -
Yes VM wrote to me thanking me for my letter. BUT said I can not cancel contract early, due to price increase. And if I wish to go ahead I would incur a penalty of £350.0
