    how do you test damp? Is it a meter? Are these reliable?

    You do test damp with a meter yes.


    If done by a trained engineer, they are reliable. All 3 damp tests were carried out by caravan engineers.


    But, other checks apart from with a damp meter have proved the repairs to be poor.


    For example, the area repaired feels spongy.
