hi all, just wondered if you can receive a ccj on the same debt twice?

    Not for the same debt, no. However you can receive a CCJ for additional debt related to the same contract and you can be subject to a second attempt at enforcement

    Can you provide more details?
  • the ccj was from a very old debt, and came off my credit file in 2010, however last year due to my own stupidity, I had missed payments ans to cut a long story short the company sold the debt to a very aggressive firm who gave me another ccj as soon as they could.

    They can't 'give you' a CCJ. They would have to send court papers, which you c/would defend/dispute as their had already been court action and a CCJ granted before.
