Have you had a look at all your credit files to see if there's a problem?
There's three agencies to check: Experian, Equifax and CallCredit.
You can check your Equifax file for free via ClearScore and your CallCredit file for free via Noddle.0 -

What did Noddle say in terms of your report history? And Experian?
You need to ignore the score of 350 points, that means nothing I'm afraid as they don't lend to your. TSB will have their own credit profiling system which will never be disclosed to the general public.
If your other two reports don't show up anything untoward that leads to TSB declining you then I do think you are right in heading to the branch and appealing the outcome.
In terms of a credit card, managed well and used responsibly, they can help towards a more positive credit report (especially if you decide to opt for finance/mortgages etc) in the future. It's not your credit score that counts, it's your credit history. Any replies are my own personal opinion and not a representation of my employer.0 -

sorry im confused do i have to cheak all or other si.e noddle and others? i thought clearscore would be enough?0 -
Use the cash card account for a few months and then try to upgrade. It'll help build up your internal score and they may then give you the Classic Plus.
Experian, Equifax (ClearScore) and Call Credit (Noddle) each have different data potentially, so it's important to check all three.0 -

i just checked Noddle. it says 594 points and 3/5 what this means?
and there is section where you can print report, can i print and take to bank? thanks0 -
You're not checking the number!...you're checking the data contained within the report.
So is it accurate? Up to date? All your accounts showing? On all 3 agency reports?each time i try they refuse it,they just tell me something wrong with my credit file and they gave my cash card account0 -
Your ClearScore and Noddle scores are a bit on the low side. I know people here say they're meaningless, however they are indicative of problems.
In your case the problem might simply be your lack of credit history.0 -
