Has anyone else been through pip renewal?

Hi
I was awarded pip in October 2014 for 2 year and received a new form in December 2015 it says they are looking at my claim again and I need to fill the form in, I have read online that they do this 12 month before current claim ends.
I've sent it off but what happens now?
Has anyone else been through the renewal process? Is it as bad as the first time?

I've been through Pip renewal. I had my renewal assessment in early December and my result after 6 weeks. It was a better process this time as I was much more aware of the procedure.Master Apothecary Faranell replied, “I assure you, overseer, the Royal Apothecary Society dearly wishes to make up for the tragic misguidance which ended so many lives. We will cause you no trouble. We seek only to continue our research in peace".0

Please every body keep a copy of Pip applications.Makes re-applying a little easier if nothing has changed.0

I'm currently going through the renewal process just under 12 months early, would be good to hear other people's story's as there's not much about the renewal process online.
I posted the form back around 5-6 weeks ago and haven't heard anything back from them yet, really hope I don't have to go through another assessment0 -

I went through PIP renewal last year (I have MS)
Asked similar questions as to when i wad diagnosed 2012
Last year PIP was extended 1 year. (which I was surprised t.b.h)
Received a new renewal letter this year, thankfully no Atos Assessment this year,
Pip 'auto' extended 2 yrs until 2018.
My challenges are not only finance, though I'm not currently getting any medication as I don't want to 'trial' different types of medicine, thats my choice and decision.
If and when my MS progresses, I'll re consider trying medicine.Replenished CRA Reports.2020 Nissan Leaf 128-149 miles top charge. Savings depleted. VM Stream tv M250 Volted to M350 then M500 since returned to 1gb0 -

Sounds easier to renew then than the new claim process, how long did it take them to respond to you after you sent the form back? I hope I don't have to attend another assessment the last one was bad enough and there's no changes in my condition at all0 -

I didn't send a form this year, I received what I call the 'auto' renewal letter, with same points/payments until 2018.
If I remember correctly it's possible a Atos assessment maybe every 3 years t.b.h.
I don't mind though it does feel like i'm answering the questions I and doctor answered 2012.
It is possible though that the Atos rep could pick up on my MS deteriorating which is important as I consider myself very individual.Replenished CRA Reports.2020 Nissan Leaf 128-149 miles top charge. Savings depleted. VM Stream tv M250 Volted to M350 then M500 since returned to 1gb0
