Beware of Foot asylum again!!

Bought a pair of trainers from Footasylum the shop was in the centre it was convenient ( paid to much) but needed them that night. Shop was closing did not try them on. At home could not wear them as too tight, I put them back in box and return them to store as per assurances in store at time of purchase about return of item.

Exchange rejected! Sales assistant could not demonstrate reason to reject so she went to a bright light and pointed to paper in the sole from the packaging, and inside of the heal looked pressed where I had tried it on. I demonstrated no wear on sole. I said that is unreasonable. The assistant manager backed her up without reviewing the shoe.

Sales assistant apologised and said they are told to find any reason to reject returns they can find.
