Can i appeal this fine from UKPC??

Options
Hi guys,

There are simply 100’s of posts/threads on parking fines which I have looked through but I was unable to find anything which was relevant to my own specific circumstances.
I am currently staying in temporary accommodation for a 3 night stint and last night parked up but failed to leave my permit on display on the dashboard and subsequently have been issued a widow fine (£100 - £40 if paid within 14days) by an organisation called (UKPC) which is associated to the BPA and seems to have all the relevant associations as an above board parking controller / enforcer.

There were notices in clear view all around the car park and I was fully aware of my obligations but I simply forgot to but it on display.

Photographic’s have been provided as part of the evidence which can be view online in accordance with this fine.

Taking into consideration the aforementioned, would there be any valid grounds on which this could possibly be appealed?

Any assistance / comments would be greatly appreciated

Many thanks

Please read the 'NEWBIES PLEASE READ THESE FAQS FIRST' thread up near the top of this forum. Your appeal template is there.

And you could search the forum for 'UKPC permit' to read the dozens of recent ones just like yours, all following the script from the NEWBIES thread to appeal and win at POPLA. if you lose you'd be the first, it is that simple if you do it right.

Appeal as keeper (NOT DRIVER) online, on day 26. DO NOT look at the first 14 days (all explained in the sticky thread why you WAIT).
There were notices in clear view all around the car park
That's as maybe - there are always some signs around - but do me a favour, log in under 'UKPC photos' on their website by putting in your VRN and PCN number. Now tell me their own evidential signage photo is fully legible and the £100 is readable and 'prominent'. It won't be!
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top of this/any page where it says:

Know your enemy, this is who you are up against.

UKPC are former clampers who have been involved in quite a number of sordid scams, for example

Hull Trading Standards took them to court on 15 counts of fraud. They won all but one, but only because they had a better lawyer, a Q.C. If I recall correctly

    http://forums.pepipoo.com/index.php?showtopic=63597

They were bested by a Winchester barrister

    http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?377246-UKPC-liable-for-trespass-**SUCCESS**

They were involved in a large scale scam which resulted in a DVLA suspension

    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/crime/11858473/Parking-firm-UKPC-admits-faking-tickets-to-fine-drivers.html

Then they had another go, this one is still being investigated

And then of course there was Tracey Kiss

Do you honestly think that they would risk a court case

Please don't say things like this when I am drinking tea. I nearly sprayed my keyboard. "(UKPC) which is associated to the BPA and seems to have all the relevant associations as an above board parking controller / enforcer."

As previous posters have said, ukpc are a scam scumpany that was caught fiddling time stamps on their photo "evidence."

Wipe your mind of any thought that this is an ethical upstanding company that has got you banged to rights, because it could not be further from the truth.

Do not appeal yet. Read the Sticky thread for NEWBIES as already advised then appeal using the BPA template in blue around day 25 or whatever day is advised.

Please also read this and get everyone you know to sign the petition.
