Good credit score - balance transfer credit cards

Hi everyone
My credit score is 'good' and a fair amount about the UK average.
I tried yesterday on Money Supermarket to see which balance transfer credit cards I should look into. It only showed one (Capital One) as being highly likely to be approved - the others were all 1/10 or 'not eligible'.
I have all up to date payments on my current credit card and haven't gone near the 5k limit (about 2k into it). I have a loan in my name which is again up to date and always paid each month.
I have one outstanding energy bill and that is it, but it is not overdue.
Any ideas what could be impacting this?
Thanks!

Your credit score is totally irrelevant, only you and the CRA can see it. Lenders will make a judgment based on your credit history.
In general, balance transfer cards are usually only offered to those with very good credit history. From what you've said there doesn't seem to be anything untoward on your history, except maybe that there is too little history for lenders to make a judgment on.
One of the biggest things is to make sure you're on the electoral roll, if you're not then most lenders will pretty much dismiss you out of hand.
Aside from that, just check your credit file to make sure that all the information on there is correct.0 -
It may also depend on your income and overall debt.0

How much is the loan for out of interest OP?It's not your credit score that counts, it's your credit history. Any replies are my own personal opinion and not a representation of my employer.0
