Disability benefits

Hello all,

I've have a few canvassing calls lately regarding a free boiler if me or anyone I'm our household is claiming benefits, not sure if this is the latest scam or if its genuine?

My father-in-law lives with us, hi is 67 and he had a stroke 4 years ago and receives the higher rate disability payments

Can anyone tell me what, if anything we would be entitled to, boiler, cavity wall etc. and any other benefits we might be missing out on?

Its a con they only give you discount say so,
when you phone them up

Cold calling may well be a con but worth looking at this from this very site

It could well be worth a chat with your energy supplier to see if there is any help they can give

Thanks for the advise, I've also sent an email to the energy saving trust as advised by your link on MSE
