Error Codes 722, 721

in Credit cards
Hi !
I am getting on the merchant website error codes 722 and also 721 with content ''Transaction Could Not Be Completed''. Called the bank and I was told this error is related to the merchant where I am doing the purchase. According to the URL, bank's representative was correct. I am really getting this error (722 or 721) on merchant's website and not on bank website after being redirected from merchant website to bank website for authorizing the payment.
Could anyone please explain what EXACTLY this is and how to solve? I doubt your explanation would be anyhow different if i paid with credit instead of debit card or vice versa. Yes, card is Visa.
Thanks + regards.

Try different browser(s)?0

tried but same error. The only reason I could think of is that merchant accepts online card payments only during the business hours which means my payment was late and need to wait until the next day. However I doubt that because the content of error message in this case wouldn't be ''Transaction could not be completed''. Tried to clear cookies but didn't help.0

What does this have to do with credit cards?
Code 721 is a Windows error related to unsupported content or badly coded content and could be server-side. Try Googling for a fix. Code 722 is a multimedia error again related to unsupported content which I've only seen on a regular TV served by a decoder, i.e. Amazon Prime TV but not in U.K. The fix is to restart the device.0 -
I entered on merchant website my card number, exp date and 3 digit code and then I clicked on button similar to Proceed To Payment. After clicking on that button, while still being on same webpage of same merchant's website (wasn't redirected anywhere!), the error message popped up. Since I was entering card details, it has to do with cards processing so yes it is card transaction error. Another reason is that windows based error wouldn't contain content ''Transaction could not be completed''.
Tried to restart device, cleared cookies, used different browsers but no success so far. Tried to search for a fix but no luck so far.. Do you have any advice how the fix would look like and where to find it?
Talking about multimedia: adobe, shockwave, java, etc are all up to date. Browser is up to date too.0 -

It would have content if part of the page is an iframe. Long shot but try unblocking pop-ups.0 -

What makes you think Microsoft is the only organisation in the whole world to use numeric error codes? I suspect that the codes the OP is seeing are from the merchant or acquirer's card handling system, although a bit more information on what was being done might help to clarify.0 -
Anthorn the pop ups are not blocked. I just checked. Even if they were blocked, the consequence (the actual error) would still be there, I just wouldn't see it in occurred pop up window.
agrinnall: I was processing my card in the checkout to buy some product. Yes the code of error and its error message, i mentioned several times, is from merchant and located on merchant website.0 -

Due to the lack of information it could be anything. My posts are based on my own personal experience. Been a while but a javascript window comes to mind which is why I hit on the pop-ups.
Why doesn't the OP just email the merchant. That seems to me to be a better solution.
An explanation of the Windows problem but I do not recommend running the toolkit software. As I have stated, a restart should fix it if it's a Windows problem.

This 'explanation' doesn't explain that Error 721 that the OP was experiencing was necessarily a Windows Error 721, especially as it was "Transaction Could Not Be Completed", not "ERROR_PPP_NO_RESPONSE / ERROR_NO_YIELD_PERFORMED / STATUS_SYSTEM_IMAGE_BAD_SIGNATURE"0

So elaborate: What does the error code mean and what is causing it?0
