Planet Talk Instant- warning

Planet Talk Instant offers very tempting rates for phoning abroad by just dialling 08433751020 (e.g. 1p/min to France) but this is on top of the access charge. My phone provider, Utility Warehouse has put up the access charge to 9p/min making an outrageous total of 10p/min. BUT you can get round this by opening an account with Planet Talk and then using a free access number. Never use their Instant Service!

Nowadays, your choices are:
- indirect providers such as 18185, etc, from some landlines
- dial-through providers offering 01, 02, 03 or 080 numbers with international leg on account
- dial-through providers offering 03 numbers with no additional charge
- dial through providers that still fall within your inclusive 0845 or 0870 allowance
- calling direct using a mobile provider that offers cheap international calls.

UW offer inclusive calls at evening and weekend to 01/02/03 numbers(Up to 75 minutes per call) so at these times you could call France useing one of the dial-through providers offering calls to 03 numbers at no additional charge. So no need to open an account.

Or you could call via https://www.callstunt.com 0161 geographical rate number.

Such calls would also be included at no extra charge if you have peak inclusive minutes to(01/02/03) numbers.
