Cheap camera/video camera with excellent HD video recording and sound

Options
I am looking to record some wildlife sounds and rural scenery in super HD and crystal clear sound.

Only have a budget of £100, can anyone recommend something that might be suitable.

Might even consider a mobile phone if it will cut it. I have a Moto G 2nd Gen, which may be lacking.

I am no expert, but my gut feeling is that "crystal clear sound" is an over-optimistic requirement for your budget.

A good microphone alone costs about that much:31YaPALLRRL._AC_UL115_.jpg
although you can be lucky to get it for ~£75. And it's for a studio, not for "wildlife sounds".

Excellent and £100 don't go together.

If sound is important to you, you need to record it separately from the video, built-in mics are in no way good, even on £10k cameras. I'd consider a Handy Zoom 2/4 as being great for the pricepoint, alternatively at the very least get a camcorder with a 'mic in' socket (even minijack) and get any mic you can connect with a cable. Anything placed closer to the sound you're trying to record will be better than any onboard mic.
