Need to attach child stair gate to stud wall - how???

Evening....wondered if you could help!!

We need to put up a stair gate at the top of the stairs (due to very active 10 month old!) When we had one previously, we screwed it into the bathroom door frame and into the bannister - worked fine!

However, had bathroom redesigned a couple of years ago and door was moved - there is now a stud wall where the frame used to be.

Now we don't know the best way of securing the gate. There is nowhere else we can fit the gate but the one position, so somehow we need to attach it to the stud wall. Anyone know the best way of doing it?

There are other methods but they are more invasive.
