The date of birth field only goes back as far as 1997, and a date is necessary to allow entry. Of course I can understand why they would want to appeal to children (my grandsons of 3 and 5 talk of nothing but superheroes) but are they really expecting 2 children to travel alone to the USA - 19 is just the highest age it seems like you can enter, and only two prizewinners.
"Each entrant may only submit a maximum of one entry per city."
    Strange!
  • I might be wrong but what I think they mean by one entry per city is you get one entry for Gotham and one entry for Metropolis. You can switch between the - I guess I'd call them 'travel guides' - along the top and there's the option to enter on both.

Did anyone else get emails about this today? One for Gotham and one for Metropolis. They both say roughly the same thing:

"You have entered the competition to join us on our inaugural flight to Gotham City.

This email contains important information about your trip to facilitate your journey, should you win. The winners will be picked by sweepstake in the next 10 days, so please give this your full attention.

Since 2013, both Metropolis and Gotham City have required visitors to obtain a short-stay visa through the EVSA (Electronic Visa System Application) programme, on top of the US national visa requirements, and even if you are a US citizen. Please apply below, as you will require a short-stay visa if you win. Download your visa and keep it in your passport. Important note: If your application is rejected, you will not be able to travel, so please pay careful attention to the questions. Good luck!"

It then has a link to "apply for your visa" which asks more info and a photo (it encourages you to use your Facebook photo) - has anyone filled it all out? Do you think we have to to still be entered into the draw? Or is this just extra interactivity to add to the pretend scenario? And the initial entry "booking your flight ticket" was enough to enter the draw?

I already have a valid ESTA from when I went to New York last year. Not sure if it's the same thing.
