I have found trivago and other comparison sites don't always give you the best deals on hotels, I looked on Olympic holidays just to book a hotel not a flight or holiday package.
The hotel I was looking at was at least £60 less on Olympic holidays, than several other sites, for a 10 night stay.

You should have booked the hotel through hotels.co.uk

You could have:
Got hotels.co.uk to price match
Got cash back through quidco
Got one free nights stay through the hotels.co.uk loyalty program

So why then did the OP post about sites not delivering in the Report Bargains forum ?

The main Overseas forum or PVW are far more appropriate!
