Hi
I'd be very grateful if anyone could help me please?
I bought a year old car from a main dealer Dec 14 and it developed faults - which by the time I'd allowed them to try and fix it, it had gone past the 6 months where I could have handed it back.
Anyway there's a long tale attached to the whole thing about how it was sold to me and them lying etc etc.
We are now at a point where they have agreed to exchange the car for one of a similar value but my question is .. When i accept this other car where do I stand if there are problems with that car?
Do my rights start over again with the new car and the 6 months where the onus is on them to prove there isn't a fault kicks in again or am I still where I am now?
I just want to make sure i'm not jumping out of the frying pan and into the fire with accepting this 'exchange' if anyone can help me please?
Thank you x
