I've just bought a new desktop tower and swapped just about everything over to it. Unfortunately, I forgot to make a copy of all my internet bookmarks, favourites etc. Is there a simple way of accessing them and copying to the new computer, or will I need to disconnect everything and put it back on the old tower? I'm not terribly savvy with computers( I'm amazed I've managed to do as much as I have unadid lol) so plain and sumple language would be very much appreciated
The old one is on XP and the new one is Windows 10 in case that makes a difference.

I,m presuming when you say "swopped everything bovver" you mean your printer monitor keyboard and mouse
If your old machine was running windows and you were using INTERNET EXPLORER
reconnect your old machine , and goto c:/users/XXX/favorites (folder with a star) open and click on one then press CTL plus A , right click and select copy
(forgot to say , you should have inserted a blank pendrive in the usb slot)
go to pendrive and select paste
reconnect new machine and click on pendrive CTL plas A , and copy , goto , c:/users/xxx/favorites and paste in there
internet explorer is still on win 10 , just hidden in accessoriesSave a Rachael

Sorry for being vague. I mean I've saved all the documents and photos onto an external drive so that I still have access to them and have reloaded my Windows Office etc.
I generally use Firefox for internet access.

I generally use Firefox for internet access.- export bookmarks to a file in the old FF and then import them from this file in the new one (simplest way IMO);
- copy them manually from the old folder to the new one: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profiles-where-firefox-stores-user-data;
- sync the new FF with the old one: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-do-i-set-sync-my-computer.

Thank you so much for all the help everyone. Grumbler, I used your export/import method and I'm now a very happy bunny who has all her bookmarks back
