John Baron IT Portfolios

Does anyone here invest in an IT portfolio that follows John Baron's approach, he has five depending on your stage in life, SPRING, SUMMER, AUTUMN and WINTER plus one themed portfolio?

He publishes monthly in IC as to the progress of SUMMER and AUTUMN portfolio.

I found some of his commentary quite useful and it was also quite nice to see the differences between those four portfolios. He's moved to a subscription service in the past few weeks, and I wouldn't pay £150 per year to see how those portfolios evolve. It will be interesting to see whether he continues to publish the two portfolios in IC.

That's what I thought about his subscription service £3/wk is a bit steep I think. The IC column I think will continue, he donates his fee for writing it to charity, so I guess he would like to continue that.

One thing about the trusts he picks, they are all on the expensive side worth TER/OCF of well over 1%, some as high as 3%!
