Has anyone done this for the £150 bonus? What's the timeline for the bonus to be paid to you? They haven't mentioned it to me at all during phonecalls preparing for the switch.

Doesn't answer my question.
I may have clicked through MSE and filled in the form, but there's been no mentioned of it since, either through post or over the phone.
Can anyone who's finished the switch give me some detail?Open a 1st Account then switch your banking to us using the Current Account Switch Service and pay in at least £1,000 within three months of your account opening and we'll add £150 to your account.
This offer is limited to one payment per customer or joint relationship. Incentives are paid within 28 days of all criteria being met.
We can only offer this to people who haven't previously held any account with first direct.
We reserve the right to refuse any application for a product or service. All credit is subject to status. We reserve the right to extend or withdraw this offer at any time.
Unless you're looking for 20 posts replying saying "when I switched I got it in 24 days", "...23 days", "...27 days", etc...and then you're looking to calculate some sort of 'mean time to payment'?
But, and to put your mind at ease, there hasn't been a flood of posts saying "FD haven't paid me and it's been more than 28 days. Having to chase them up".0 -
I've just been looking at this on the first direct website it says £125, and it's paid out quick, you could have your money with-in a month.0

I had mine within 30 days when I switched to them0

I applied for this but it doesn't look like I'll be getting it.
First problem was that I had an ISA with FD some years ago and they keep the account alive even when you switch your money to another provider. So,I was told to log-in to my account and apply for the current account online.Alas I no longer knew my log-in details so I phoned customer services and that was sorted out in about 30 minutes but then they said I had to open the account over the phone which would take another 30 minutes or so and as I was about to go out I couldn't do that. So,we arranged a time for them to phone me back. They never did.I just tried phoning them and got sick of listening to their recorded messages.
Doesn't realy inspire confidence in them does it.0 -
I received mine about 3 weeks later too.0
