Hi,I will be in the Banff area for 10 days at the start of June.
I will have a hire car and accommodation is sorted.
Has anyone got any recommendations for things to do?
BTW I am pushing 60,not overly fit and female.

As well as Lake Louise, I'd also recommend nearby Morraine Lake which is just as beautiful but less touristy.
You could drive west from Lake Louise over the Kicking Horse Pass. The road (the Trans Canada Highway) goes past the famous spiral tunnels which are well worth a stop if you've the slightest interest in railway engineering.

You could drive north from Lake Louise up the southernmost part of the Icefields Parkway, which passes through beautiful scenery.

Just enjoy the beautiful scenery, it's a lovely part of the world. We drove from Canmore up to Jasper & back stopping at all the beautiful places on the way. Peyto Lake was my favourite but it's all good.Tall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.0

I can't say I had many memorable meals in Canada - no American would be surprised at that statement! The best we had was at Baker Creek, about 40 miles north of Banff. We were staying the night on our way north, I wouldn't drive there just for a meal.Tall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.0
