So only the contact name/owner (on paper) has changed, all the rest seems to be the sameI'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

Purporting to be 'professional' yet can't even write proper! :rotfl:Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Without meaning to be in any way negative I don't get what Peoples Parking is actually offering (and I have read through the assessment form). Accreditation? But accreditation of what and based on what? Who are PP and what is their standing? At least ParkMark has/had the sanction of ACPO (car parks are/were assessed to standards they originally laid down) and there was some form of expertise at work in that process but who the hell is PP and what expertise do they offer?
The website text certainly doesn't impart any confidence and wouldn't entice me to do anything other than go away. The handbook is mysteriously missing and the assessment form gives the impression of having been knocked up in about 10 minutes.
If this website was to have remained in the hands of the original registrants then one might have been tempted to conclude that it was nothing more than another effort to exploit the gravy train. Then again if it is just aimed at PPC's, and that is the impression, then that conclusion might still have some application. After all, PPC's want nothing more than to convince the public that they are there to provide a service and what better to prove that than an accreditation? My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016).
For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com0 -
I can only see it is set up to encourage disabled people to park in their car parks and fall foul of their rules and generate income.
Oh, what a tangled web we weave. When first we practise to deceive!I do Contracts, all day every day.0 -

Here are some of the aims- Enable disabled people to find a car park which they can park with ease.
- Enable drivers of light commercial vehicles/camper vans to find car parks which they can enter.
- Ensure drivers of electric vehicles can find somewhere to charge them.
- Highlight car parks which are particularly good for shoppers, commuters or airport passengers.
So, PP (hasn't that abbreviation already been taken?) already has customer(s). Where on their web site can motorists find these accredited car parks? And what is the point of forking out to PP if they can't?
[edit. I see their first customer is meant to be a BPA company. Perhaps John Davies only provides his free web site services for IPC companies?]Dedicated to driving up standards in parking0
