Morning all
Still in bed as I type hubby beside me. Me on my phone, him on his. Not sure what we are doing today but neither of us are in a rush to get up.
Hester. So glad your daughter has accommodation sorted. Such a weight off your mind.

Hester, so glad your daughter has found a house she can move in to, serves the landlord right, cheeky b----r.
It had rained over night, quite mild this morning, have re-laid the fire but not lit it, its not cold in the house at all.
OH has a new jigsaw on the go, so thats him occupied.
I am wading through library books just now, they are due back next weekend. Will be spending the rest of the day on the settee reading. I have prepped everything for supper, just have to cook it.0 -
Morning, I have been up since 4 but being a busy beetle. No rain but strong winds here. Washing on the line, another load to gp out if it doesn't start raining
Hester and Jus I'm great news,
I have no news, other than DS is doing his level best to eat me out of house and home.I was jumping to conclusions and one of them jumped back0 -
There will be five of us for lunch so making pulled pork, lamb with rosemary, roast potatoes, yorkies, sugar snap peas, carrots, green beans, and peas.
Just about to put the yorkies in for about 12.30 meal.
DD and SIL have taken stuff to the tip and older dd not arrived yet so not sure whether to wait or not.
Hester
I am so glad your DD is sorted out and  at the landlord who messed them about so much. The worst thing is making them go through all those hoops and moving the goalposts before letting them down.

Good afternoon everyone,
DH and I both caught up on our sleep and feeling a bit better with our colds.
I now have my house sorted and cleaned after the children's visitors.
DS has gone off to see his GF and won't be back for dinner. DD has gone to work, but will probably be finished by 4pm. I'm going to make a fish pie for dinner a Mary Berry recipe which went down very well a few weeks ago, and will probably make a fruit crumble for pudding.
I am washing the guests bedding and putting it out to dry as its nice and windy, so fingers crossed.
Loads of ironing to do in a minute and get ready for back to work tomorrow:(
HH good news for your DD, please she got herself sorted so quickly after being let down.
Hugs to everyone and have a good Sunday.SPC 11 #4450 -
Middle dd has a birthday next Saturday so I ordered a few things for her and have just got some of them wrapped up now. Also got a birthday card and planning a quick shopping trip tomorrow with my youngest. If she sees something she likes I offered to buy her an interview outfit.
Hoping to hear if move is still on and will call solicitor in afternoon etc.

Spent the day helping DD pack, fending off two mad dogs who wanted to sit on my knee, reading stories to the babies and refereeing fights between the 10 and 11yo DGC who seemed to think the best way to help would be to argue over every bit of plastic and scrap of paper they were supposed to be sorting!
I got home and cooked sausage and mash for tea as I was too tired to do a roast, the lamb I defrosted is in the fridge and will do for tomorrow's tea.
Hugs HesterChin up, Titus out.0 -

I slept like a log last night.
Continued healing on the way to Judi's GINGE.
Millie has just had her last meal with us for this stay - she's off home tomorrow, but she's due to return to us for another holiday in October.:T
My next guest, Big Jack Spaniel, arrives on Friday, for the weekend.:o
Veggie toad-in-the-hole is cooking as I type.
Most exciting bit of today - trying out my new steam cleaner on all the little fiddly bits on the bath lift. The amount of grime that came away was shocking!
